Privacy
talktoclaude records from your microphone only between a button press and the end of your sentence, transcribes that audio on your own computer, types the result into the window you chose, and discards the audio. Nothing is uploaded, ever.
- No network use except one download of the speech model from Hugging Face on first run, and only if you didn't supply one.
- No accounts, no telemetry, no analytics, no crash reporting.
- Log files stay on your machine, under your local app data folder, and contain the transcripts it typed. Delete them whenever you like.
- Open source, MIT licensed. Every line is at github.com/FrenchCommando/talktoclaude.
